Kashmir’s path to hairstyling began in college when she styled hair and makeup for theater productions, and she has kept up that creative edge throughout her career. With her two Best of Boston awards, in 2009 for “best affordable haircut” and 2010 for “best inexpensive stylist”, Kashmir has the ability to make any type of client happy.
She has trained under a Vidal Sassoon Creative Director and has extensive training and certification in Goldwell, Wella and Kemon color. Having skin sensitivity herself, Kashmir was drawn to the gentle yet effective Kevin Murphy hair products and has become a Key Educator for the line. With all this knowledge under her belt, Kashmir specializes in every type of client from the conservative blonde to the pink haired rocker. Her client list includes members of the bands Bang Camaro, The Action Verbs, Abnormality and Naked Eyes.
Kashmir is also a make up artist offering a full range of make up application services. These hair styling and make up talents can be seen throughout Kashmir’s editorial work.
